Udo Gennari is a Project Manager with over 16 years of professional activities in Intellectual Property (IP) used for collaborative research and innovation. Udo holds a PhD / Dr. rer. nat. by the University of Innsbruck. Udo is fluent in German (MT) and English.

For one cluster topic within Horizon Europe, for “Climate”, Udo has attended a 4 days course on CO2 mitigation and has frequently consulted SMEs active in this field.
In addition, Udo has experience in 2 strategic industrial value chains/ecosystems (Raw materials, low-carbon industry). For raw materials, Udo has been active as evaluator for SC5 14c 2017 Sustainable metallurgical processes and SC5 9a 2018 - Breakthrough concepts and solutions for sustainable exploration, mining and/or processing, as reviewer for ULCOS (2009) and CROCODILE (2020) and as Innovation Radar Expert supporting the exploitation of foreground in running H2020 projects SOLSA 2019 and NEMO 2020.
Moreover, Udo has a track record of successful commercialisation with small companies: (2 licensees & 1 investor strongly supported by convincing independent patent valuation for RT Engineering, successful national and international patenting based on novelty patent searches and IP counselling for international patent application for REALSIM, novelty searches, IP counselling for international patent application and international licensing support for SKIKE) and universities (4 cases of IP exploitation support for employees’ inventive ideas by novelty searches and recommendations for take-up by University of Applied Sciences and advice for IP exploitation.
