The Technology Transfer Committee (TTC) is an LESI Professional Committee that serves as the focal point for experts involved in relations and transactions related to the commercialization of scientific ideas and inventions.

Technology transfer (TT) plays a key role in realizing the potential impact of scientific ideas and results. It typically refers to the commercialization of scientific or technological inventions via licensing or sale of intellectual property, but it also covers research collaborations and creation of new companies and startups that aim to commercialize a scientific invention or a novel technology. The field requires specific expertise and seamless cooperation between several different types of actors ranging from companies to universities, research organizations, and government agencies.
